2009 starts off with a new book

OK, so during the holidays a have read an excellent book by Dino Esposito and Andrea Saltarello called Microsoft® .NET: Architecting Applications for the Enterprise. The book addresses common issues when building software applications and an alternative/s to solving them.
What I especially liked about the book was that it was divided into sections that dealt with business logic layer, data access layer, and finally the presentation layer. In each section talking about issues and problems and then discussing design patterns and solutions to those issues. The book comes with source code, the Northwind Starter Kit, which is excellent and they use new stuff also like PP Unity for DI/IoC stuff and more…great!
I´m pretty sure I will have great use for it during 2009 as well as years to come.
